Preflop: Folded to Villain in MP and he called. Hero called in SB. BB called.

Flop: [8c][4h]. Hero bets his flush draw. BB folds. Villain calls.

Turn: [8c][4h][Ad]. Hero bets his flush draw. Villain calls.

River: [8c][4h][Ad][8d]. Hero misses his flush draw and bets anyway because he thinks that betting and getting his opponent to fold is the only way he can win the pot. Villain calls, I guess hoping that Hero had 3 2 for a split. Hero is very surprised when the pot is pushed his way and scratchs his head in bewilderment wondering how he won the pot with his 7 high hand. He checks the hand history and learns the surprising truth.

I didn't make this up; it is really an actual hand that I played yesterday.
