This guy is the MOTHER of all asshats. He calls two cold with T7s. Fine. Then, Mr. Asshat calls a flop bet with top pair, no kicker. Fine. Then, the asshat calls a BB with top pair no kicker and a flush draw to the 5th nut flush. Then, this dickhead hits his flush and wakes up on the river.

What a moron.

Oh my God, the dreaded T7 sooooted.

An asshat knocked knocked me out on the bubble in a tournament at Poker Stars a month or so ago when he kept check-calling my flopped set of Qs and back-doored his flush with T7s (no pair, no straight draw, no nothing).

It was one of those hands that will be forever etched in my memory.

No offense, Tib. But I'm relieved now to know that I'm not the only person who's ever been butt-raped by that hand.

According to the hand history, he didn't cold call. And you're surprised that he called with top pair on the flop? I'd be surprised if he DIDN'T call with bottom pair, and then he's still got top pair and picks up a flush draw and calls again, and you're still surprised? shit, if I were him, I'd call the turn. Of course, I wouldn't have been playing T7 in the first place, but hey, that's just me.

I have a couple of problems with villian's play, but it really was not that bad. PF, he should fold. I don't think that limping is a HUGE mistake, but limping into the great shark when he knows there is a good chance you will raise is definately -EV. Once it gets back to him after your PF raise, he has to call and see a flop getting 5:1.

Your PF raise does not necessarily indicate huge strength. He may know that you are a good player, and good players will make that move with air sometimes in an attempt to isolate the limper and then bet any flop if it checks to them, hoping to take it down right there. I would have check-raised you on the flop if I were him. When you three-bet, I start to give you credit for a hand, but I will call the bet in a 10SB pot.

The turn gives him alot of outs if he is behind, check calling for a [edit] 4.75BB pot is the correct play.

His hand got there on the river. Limit poker variance. This was not a horrible play by villian. But he is an Asshat for limping with that hand in the first place.
