do you change your screen name?

Postby m9man » Sat Sep 03, 2005 1:17 pm

does anyone change their screen name periodically online?

if so, how oftern?

at what level of NL do you think it is important to do this?

Im moving to $50Nl currently and just wondered if I should change up my name.

I recently changed my name on Empire because I was getting too many hands on certain players. Before that I had gone over a year without a change. I think I'm going to do it about every six months from here on out.

I don't change my name because I don't mind being known sometimes. If you think they are a good player and can adjust if they have seen me too much, I will adjust to them. I think it can work to your advantage if you feel you are better than your competition.

As far as I know, Party (and skins) is the only place you can change your name and you can only do it once every 6 months. I did just change my name at Party and I did change it once at PokerStars, but that took alot of talking.

thanks guyz. yeah after playing more at the $50NL level - name change is definitely not required...still plenty of players worse than me out there. who woulda thunk it?
