I read a while ago an article linked from here about putting big pairs in with underpairs on the board.
Villain was new to the table (10-15 hands) his stack going up and down a bit and liked paint. His call on the flop could have meant any pair from AA-88, T9s, T9o and any paint suited or not.
Was the push correct? Just do it on the flop or see what I'm up against first?
Also this push was determined by my own stack size. This will possibly open up a different debate but I was roughly $20 up on my session at this point and thought it was worth the gamble as at worse case I would then be even. If I was already even for the session or down then I can't see myself doing this. Thoughts pls?
