Fine by me... I'm assuming he threw out a bet, hoping to fold you off your big PP... Or, maybe he had [Ad] 8 and didn't wanna chase...

Seems like you made the right play. Fold or raise is usally the best path, but this wouldn't have been a horrible spot to flat call if you had a read.

one more card might not do that much damage, overpair and econd best flush draw might just make wait the turn , maybe check raise the turn and get another bet out of him, but you might as well have saved your self a bad beat, small chance cause the Ad would probably not fold this for about 3:1
anyway a win it's awin so, good job

looks fine to me. it's doubtful he will lead out with a flush or aset here, which makes a raise correct.
