I would prefer a slightly bigger raise pre flop, somewhere along the lines of .11 or so, which would result in me betting more on the flop. In my opinion when you're out of position it's good to play hands a little bit stronger before the flop. If you had position, you could let your position be some of your leverage, but out of position you don't have that luxury, so I prefer to really punish people with healthy sized raises.
As played I would bet .22 or .24. I think checking is ok sometimes too.
Frankly at $2 NL I'm not sure if it really matters how you play it. If they have an A, you should be able to get it all in at some point anyway (assuming you're a strong player), and if you're beat you're gonna have to pay them off. If you check you may get some idiot to try and represent the A to push you off of your scared QQ or something, so that's a plus. However with your aggressive image and people probably ready to look you up, I think the standard play is to make a nice healthy continuation bet.
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
