So you have:

set over set
river boat over straight
flush over set
set over set

The only even vaguely questionable play is your call on #3. You can think about folding that one. But a call isn't bad because he may be bluffing the flush card, he may be on two pair, and even if he has the flush you may catch up.

The other ones are just sick, disgusting, horrible awful luck. Especially #4. UGH!!!

By the way, great job not betting the river in hand #2 when the board paired. You got lucky that the guy with the boat didn't value bet it.

For the most part, I think you are screwed in these hands. I lose a stack to set over set.

Hand 1: raise his bet on the flop more but its all going in so nothing you can do.

Hand 2: Once again, raise much more on the flop. Make them pay to beat you. He wasn't going away on this hand and I would have lost much more as I would probably be all in on the turn.

Hand 3: Raise the flop more and make him pay. The way you play it, if you can put him on the flush, you shouldn't call the turn but you didn't make it too difficult for him to chase it. Make it at least $8 on the flop.

Hand 4: Raise it more on the flop! there is a pattern here to my advice. you are giving him odds to chase the flush if he has a draw. If you raised more, you would have won the hand on the flop.

Make people pay to play against you but some of these hands it didn't matter while others it did. You may have won 1 or 2 of these pots instead of losing all 4.

I don't really like min raises on the flop. If you think he's betting a flush draw, make a raise so he doesn't get correct odds. If you think he has TP, call on the flop and make a good raise on the turn. My oppinion is that making a min raise that gives him correct odds to draw on the flop is a negative play for you.
