Anybody re-raise pretty big on the flop instead?

Well I overbet the pot on teh flop. Pot is only .40 and I bet .80, and he made a mini-check-raise. That confused me since I had seen him make big raises before when he had a hand. I figured I would just call to see if he would lead again on the turn. Once the turn card gace me the nut flush draw to go with my TPTK I was in a quandry whether to raise or call... decided I didn't want to get pushed off the hand and just called. Once the river came around I guess I should have folded but by this time the pot was pretty big and the bet was reasonable.

I just feel uncomfortable playing TPTK compared to playing a draw or a strong hand like top two and here I just wanted to keep the pot small. I also had a feeling he could be making a move on me because I had been very aggressive picking up a lot of pots without going to showdown. Also, in a blind war hand values tend to go up, ie: usually nobody has a very strong hand.

As it turns out I unwittingly probably extracted maximum value from the hand, if I had raised him at any point he probably would have folded (or re-raised all-in in which case I would have) so by letting him bet all the way I actually won a big pot... but it felt like a mockery of a hand, I had no idea where I stood and was just passively calling down.
