Postby rickjr82 » Tue Aug 09, 2005 11:40 pm

related to flush aggression post
bb is a decent LAG (usually wins but seems more lucky to me) not as good as he thinks and absolutely hates me.
even more after this one

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed)

UTG+1 ($11.82)
MP1 ($32.50)
MP2 ($37.40)
MP3 ($4.75)
Hero ($31.85)
Button ($30.35)
SB ($16.50)
BB ($16)
UTG ($24)

Preflop: Hero is CO with [As], [3s]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.25, 1 fold, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1) [8s], [Jd], [4s] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $1, SB folds, BB calls $1, MP1 folds.

Turn: ($3) [7c] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.5, BB raises to $5, Hero calls $2.50.

River: ($13) [Js] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6, BB calls $6.

Final Pot: $25

Results in white below:
BB has 9d Td (straight, jack high).
Hero has As 3s (flush, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins $25.

he doesn't reraise enough on the turn to force me out(love those minraise=monster)
the river pairs to give me the flush

when he checks was my value bet ok or should i check behind (50/50 folding to an all in reraise mainly because of his LAG play)
I got my hair highlighted, because I felt some strands were more important that others.

value bet is fine and I don't fold to his all in as it wouldn't be that much more. Actually, i probably just go all in on the river. Looks more like a bluff and if he's calling $6 when he has about 10 left, he's calling it all off.

yeah agreed with ice on this one.

just move all-in..looks more like a bluff and not much more money to him. If he'll call $6..then he'll call $10
