1. Villain limps in mp, and it folds to me in the BB with
[8c]. I raise to $4.5 and villain calls.
2. Flop
[8s][4c], pot $9. I lead $7 and villain calls.
2. Turn
, pot $23. I lead $17 and villain raises to $42.....
Do I give what seems to be a passive player credit here, or am I all in anyways? I feel like he can easily be limping J9 or QT, with a much lower chance he has something like AQ and thinks it's the nuts, but who knows.
Also is it good to raise preflop against this type of player?
[Tc] is too weak to be playing that strongly OOP, In position a suited one gapper for a raise maybe ok.
