Turned Nut Flush on a Paired Board (300NL)

Postby T-Rod » Sun Jan 21, 2007 2:38 pm

Prima 300NL

Villain is 59/13/1.1. He's preflop Hercules, post flop turtle man.

He's playing 1/2 stack at 144.

Three limpers and I compete in SB with A[c] 9[c]

Flop ($12) K[s] 5[c] 3[c]. I lead $9 and villain calls in MP. HU.

Turn ($30) K[c]. I check, he bets $15. He has $117 left.

What's your line from here?

"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when he was told that Apple Inc. had recently bought a Cray supercomputer to help them design the next Mac.

I wouldve bet $24 on the turn and called an all in.

As played I CRAI because he will never put you on a flush. He'll call with any king and obviously with a boat.
