Well no harm in giving my opinion. I like the play. You prolly only behind JJ and AK here, unless he is one of those guys that raises with AJ in EP (prolly not). But with the size of the pot id push here. You have 2 good of a hand not to get all ur money in. I think he'l call to beacuase he called ur BIG flop raise!

I like it, but only because you took the bad beat on the last hand - people will think you're tilting, and you may get a call from KK or QQ here, especially if one of them is a diamond. Otherwise, I dont like this play, because an solid UTG raiser will normally not pay you off here with less than AQ, and could have a freeroll if he has the [Qd].

I'd like it better if there was no diamond on the turn. Then KK/QQ/JJ might call you where they might other wise not call b/c they fear the flush.

Of course, if you think you have represented tilt well here, I guess it's a nice, tricky little move.

If he had KK or QQ he's not a Tight Aggressive, he's Tight Passive. A TAG would fold on the flop (or raise). His bet is on the flop is of course super weak, so he could be unhappy with the aces and then decide to call just because he knows he showed weaknes and you might be bluffing, and wants to see what you do on the turn (obviously a horrible idea)

Or maybe you actually got him to fold AQ or AK, that would explain why he had to use up all the time. I would fold AQ there for sure and *maybe* AK unless I had the [Kd] (in which case I could be ahead or freerolling) if my read on you was that you were a real TAG (which you aren't since you called a raise with AQ :P ).

I don't know... I still think AQs is too good to pass. If a TAG raises 4xBB UTG, I put him on QQ-KK or AK, true. I'm NOT going to fight with him if I flop an ace or a queen, but if I pick up a flush draw with a pair, or even a two pair, I'm ready to get my chips in there and take down a big pot.

With this board, and his weak bet, call and check, I thought it was obvious I was ahead.

Anyway, I'm a bit tired of defending my preflop play. If some of you think it was a fishy call, fine, so be it.
