Turn decision...

Postby MVPSPORTS » Sat Sep 10, 2005 5:02 pm

What do you do on this turn...? I meant to bet $18 on the flop, but had my resolution a little TOO high, and couldn't see that it was a $10...

Regardless, should I have just pushed PF and tried to get it heads up w/ the shortstack...? Or call and play it hard if I hit...?

I meant to bet closer to the pot, but misread the number on the screen... BUT...

I'm in for $14.75 of my origional $56, leaving about $41... If I bet 3/4 pot on the turn, about $28, that'll only leave me $13... Are you really folding if he raises the turn to put me allin...? Wouldn't just pushing the turn be a better option, as I'd be thrilled to take it down there?

Or would pushing PF have been a better option...?

Reraise preflop would be fun...like stone said all the dead money.

as for how you played it..push it in and hope for the best. You're probably winning.

Nah... he had pocket 9s... I pushed the turn, figuring all my money was probably goin in anyways if I bet the turn... Of course he called...

Kinda bummed me out, cause it turned an otherwise GREAT session into just a good one...

I really think pushing PF was the way to go... I had almost the same thing happen about a half hour later, reraised to like $40... Got $20 worth of dead money to go along with the short stacks powerhouse's T9s when my King flopped...

The way the hand played out you were destined to lose a lot of money...

I'd fold and then go spend some quality time with your avatar... but that's just me after a few Hurricanes on a Saturday night.

Damn you and your avatar... damn you to hell!
