KK turn decision w/ sidepot

Postby laynegt » Wed Sep 14, 2005 10:28 pm

$50 UB

Hero: $130
utg: $14 < idiot, plays anything
sb: $70 < seems solid, tight

Hero picks up [Ks][Kh]. utg min-raises to $1. Hero raises to $3. folds to sb, who calls. utg calls.

Flop ($9.50): [Tc][8s][Td]
sb checks, utg checks, Hero bets pot. sb calls. utg goes all-in for a tiny bit more. we both call (betting wasn't re-opened). interesting action here.

Turn (~$42, $0): [8c]
good card. in fact, good enough for sb to lead for pot. wtf. Hero ?

I'm definitely raising more PF. Upto 5 or 6, which will pretty much pot commit UTG and hopefully thin the field.

The way you play it, I'm fairly scared of SB and I really don't know what he has so I probably have to fold.

i agree w/ the general sentiment that KK just feels shaky here. but thinking concretely, what can you put sb on? how likely is he to have a T or 8 here, and then bet it like that on the turn?

He's not betting out without something good here. If he can't beat the UTG and is bluffing, he truely is a moron and you have a bad read :)

So yeah I'd be pissed, but I would defiently fold that. You can find better spots.
