"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when he was told that Apple Inc. had recently bought a Cray supercomputer to help them design the next Mac.

hand 3... he can't be bluffing once someones all in. as hard as he tries, he simply won't be able to get that guy out of the hand. He probably has something like T7 here, and doesn't want to get felted by an overpair counterfitting him.

I think it's incredibly likely that you're up against two pair, if not a set. The best case scenario is that you're up against a pair + a draw, in which case you go from being a routine favorite to only a small favorite, especially if both of his cards are live (was the Q part of the flush draw or not?)

You simply can not beat his rage. If he had come over the top without the shortstacks involvement your decision would be more difficult (though I would still argue for a fold, since there are far better places in live games to put your money in), but in this situation you just aren't going to win this pot. I'm guessing your posting it because he had the pair + draw and you folded while ahead and started second guessing it (or you called and either held or outdrew 2 pair)

I was well aware that the KJ is a favorite over AQ there. This fold is automatic when im playin online. My whole point is that I never really put much merit in tells and insitncts. I mostly base my decisions on the correct "long term play", because im playin 4 tables. I almost called really thinking he had a big draw. There was over 400 in dead money...thats why i thought about it for a while.

A question ...

How would you play [Kh][Jh] there if you were the Villain? I think a push sucks because it will push the PFR out of the pot most of the time and now he's coinflipping vs a shorty with about 0 EV. He wants you in the pot, not out of it, doesn't he?

I am the farthest thing from an expert on tells, but doesn't "frozen" typically mean he doesn't want a call? After he pushes, this guy should want a call. Or am I missing something?
