Bad play? Should I fold the flop? Check/fold after he calls my flop raise? That 4 card straight on the turn looked to good to at least not take a stab at. I'm not even certain I'm behind at this point as I could see him raising 88-JJ. The results were disappointing. Is this a +EV move or a bad play? I seriously thought he would've layed his hand down, if not on the flop, at least on the turn. Guess I was wrong.

Well I like the raise on the flop. But when he calls you, what can he do this with. You are only ahead of JJ in my mind (TT wouldnt raise from UTG+2). So a check is in order on the turn. Then check it down again on the river. I may pull a crying call on the river if it was small enough.

P.S. If you are gonna bet the turn I think you should have doubled the amount. What do you think??

Check behind on the turn and reevaluate what to do on the river.

Also, remember this guy and do the exatc same think that you did here when you hit a set. (except bet the river also)

I like your play...you really put him to the test. In my mind..theres still a possibilty your queens are good too.

An even stronger play would be to call that flop bet cold, then raise him in on the turn. Would have cost more money...but that would be an insanely tough call.

The river check was essential the way you played it, of course.
