Depending on what you mean by not pro's, but most players I have played against arent good enought to play past their own hands, even some decent players. Even with that said, in the home game I play in, I do like to mix it up a little, I do play tight agressive, so I like to use that against the better players. Against some of the weak players, there is really no reason they are going to give you their money at some point anyways, so why take the risk of advertising and marginal hand.

yeah thats what i was thinking Rhound50. just play as I normally would vs. weak players and mix it up more versus the better the players [who think beyond what they have].

more important than what your image is is being aware of how they percieve you and exploiting it. imho it is more important to know how to exploit whatever image you aquire during a session than the ability to create a specific image.
in this instance i would start bluffing more, at least as much as they will let you. this will have you winning more pots and they will eventually notice and at that point you can value bet them more again. exploiting your image will actually change it so kee p on your toes and pay attention to how they are percieving you at any given time.
