BB checks, I check, EP checks, Mp bets $1, all fold to me, I raise $3, MP calls

turn: $8.50

I check, MP checks,

river: $.8.50

I bet $3, MP calls $3

These guys are so goddam passive on Cake. I see guys routinley just calling PF with all big pair after like 4-5 limpers. Should I have made the C/R on the flop? I mean if he potted it there Iwould have folded. I prolly would have folded to a 3/4 pot bet. Then on the turn, I was gonna check-fold to a bet but he checked thru. So I tried a VB/ blocking bet on the end.
