The Most Beautiful Hand In Poker?

Postby Ricardooon » Sun Aug 07, 2005 4:05 am

I put this in my journal but I figured it was worth posting here too. Not least as it involves awful play from a bad guy who then makes his hand but still hangs himself. I have to admit the only thing that could make it sweeter would be the flush card filling the boat but still...

MP3 makes a pot sized bet on the flop which you call, makes a 1/2 sized bet on the Turn, calls your raise and then gets into a raising war when he's on the draw? Sheesh, hook me up at his table!

What's the "calls $0"? Is that a few cents left over that he called your all-in?

I had this one today. MP3 was an ass who deserved to get stacked. MP2 was playing 85% of her hands and her karma wheel was coming up for a bad beating. Both were aggressive so I let them bet for me. Luckily they both hit what they thought were monster hands and did most of the work for me. Wish I had a deeper stack for NL25 though... Yes, I know it's easy to make a lot with A-A, but it still feels nice when you do.
