Prima 1/2

No read on opponent. He has $200, I have him covered.

Dealt [Qh][Qs] in MP. 2 Limper from EP. I raise to $10. UTG calls. Other guy folds.

FLOP $25
[2s][9c][8h]

UTG checks. I bet $16. I usually bet $20 here..screwed up. Guess I thought I only raised $8 preflop or something.

UTG cold calls.

TURN $57
[2s][9c][8h][Td]

Completely rainbow now.

UTG checks. I check.

RIVER $57
[2s][9c][8h][Td][9d]

Not exactly a good card but I wasn't liking my hand before it either.

UTG bets $18, I call.

UTG shows 88 for a set on the flop and full house on the river.

Considering his position and the fact the flop was rainbow...I had no problem checking this board on the turn.

I was very happy with my play here.

Next to BTP, this is probably the number 1 thing I have learned at the site... checking the turn and slowing down when you are cold called.

Great play

Very similar to my QQ hand except I caught the river Q. Played perfectly Kenny.
