How would you max value here on the turn?

What if it were equal stacks?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed)

Hero ($58)
SB ($49.90)
BB ($18.20)
UTG ($99.10)
MP ($39.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Ad, [Qd]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50, UTG calls $1.50.

Flop: ($6.25) [Kh], [7d], [Qh] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $3, BB calls $3, UTG folds.

Turn: ($12.25) [Jd] (2 players)
BB checks, [color=#CC3333]
Hero ????

Under normal circumstances (ie. full stacks) I would not say this BUT he is short stacked (about $13 looking at a $12.25 pot as of the turn).

I put him in. If he folds, good. If not, you've got 2nd pair top kicker, the nut flush draw and a straight draw. Even if you bet half the pot he almost has to go all in so why not put the pressure on him? Put him in, let him decide, and if he calls..eh, you got outs.

“The real things to know is that folks will stand to lose more than they will to win. That’s the most important percentage there is. I mean, if they lose, they’re willin’ to lose everything. If they win, they’re usually satisfied to win enough to pay for dinner and a show. The best gamblers know that.” - Pug Pearson

I put him all-in and the river was a 4[d].

I didn't need it as he called with JTo (no flush draw).

I agree with putting the short stack all-in and also with the table image comments. Thanks.
