Here I had to think a minute. If I hit my I am good to go but will I get paid off? The odds are 11:1 to hit my inside straight. He has $36 and the bet is $2. That is 18:1 if I can stack him. But, if he is on a Flush Draw then I am in trouble. He is betting so I put him on a King. A set and I will have him.

He had $38 and I was focusing on it. I played my hand in case I got a monster I could get all his money. He got away.

Any suggestions on how to keep him on the line on the Turn?

Just call? Raise more?

Maybe smooth call and if the turn is a blank then bet/raise?

Your best bet here is to fold, there are very select hands that you take his stack with, yes your gutshot is well hidden but unless you are very sure that he is going to give you his stack just fold and look for a better time to catch him. Most likely he has a weak king or even a 7 and unless he makes trips you arent going to stack him. For the amount of times you actually get his stack I think the call is -ev. Yes thinking of implied odds is important but if you make a borderline call and dont get youe implied odds it becomes a bad call even if you win.
