JJ BB vs TAG - 200NL

Postby black_knight6 » Tue Jun 12, 2007 11:31 pm

I have 200, villian covers. Villian is a regular and quite good TAG.

[Jh][Jc] in BB, villian opens in CO to 8, only I call. I don't think that I like 3 betting here OOP vs a tricky and smart villian.

Flop [Qs][4s][3h]. I check-call 14.

Turn [Qc]. I check, he thinks for 5 seconds, and bets 29...I call.

River [Ad]...check, check.

Thoughts?

Shitty river, but this looks fine.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I guess there is no way to post this hand believably in reverse. Why didn't you just post it as it happened?

Meh...villain is terrible. I would make a note to not bluff him in the future.
