The idea of APerfecto 8 tabling made me try 5 tables at NL$50. MY regular game is with three tables, and that I can handle very easily and well. A few days ago, I was in Prima, and decided to give it a try at 4tabling, with the mini view feature. I did it. Hard a t the begining but I made it. I played acceptably well and left the place with more than 10ptbb/100 in more than 900 hands (something like that, I just know I made a decent 97 bucks there).
Today 5 tables were driving me crazy. I was calling all the way stupidily. I lost 90bucks and filled the Stupidity losses field with nothing more than 190USD! I played 3 hours and loved the fact that I played more than 780 hands. The point is I played 780 losing hands!
I played horribly. It could have been a very good section but when I got excited because I had action in 2 or 3 tables, on the other two I had TPTK and a guy with a rock on his seat pushes all in and I call. Another one I am on a draw and solid player (in fact, the winningest player at UB $50NL on my DB) overbets the pot and i keep calling chasing my open ended str8 to the river, doubling him up!
What I wanted to ask is, If I can handle 4 tables with relative easeness, do you think I should play a the fifth table for a few days until I get used to it? Should I just stay playing my regular 3tables?
3Tabling I am doing more than 10ptbb/100. My problem is that i have set a goal of playing 1000 hnds per day, three tabling I need to put almost 7 hours daily, something I havent been able to do.
What do you guys think?
