QQ vs Sir Tilt

Postby T-Rod » Thu Nov 10, 2005 10:00 pm

Maniac entered the room and took two stacks from villain who is now obviously tilting.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed)

Hero ($80.80)
UTG ($50)
MP ($51.40)
CO ($50.85)
Button ($42.45)
SB ($140.24)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Qd], [Qc]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
3 folds, Button calls $0.50, SB (poster) completes, Hero raises to $1.5, Button calls $1.50, SB folds.

Flop: ($4.50) [3c], [Th], [6h] (2 players)
Hero bets $3, Button calls $3.

Turn: ($10.50) [7c] (2 players)
Hero bets $9, Button calls $9.

River: ($28.50) [5s] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button calls $28.45 (All-In), Hero ????

Normally i have no problem folding this overpair; however, this guy is on major tilt. Do you give him credit for something on this board?

Tim, please see my JJ OOP Turn action - thanks

A similar hand. Both hands are OOP and overpiar to the flop. This is a hard hand to play.

I hope you called here and won. :D

Funny... I've been away for a few days (damn that work thing), and everyone has a similar hand.

Well I called. He had 7[d] 4[s] and hit his gutshot. Bad luck, but I played it right I think.

The point of my referring you to the other hand was so that you would raise more preflop next time. Especially OOP.
