Single Greatest Flop of all Time (just for MVP)

Postby Twelver » Fri Sep 30, 2005 8:27 pm

This was f'n amazing. Both of my opponents were super aggressive. So I knew if I kept checking they would bet for me.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed)

UTG ($96.85)
UTG+1 ($93.70)
MP1 ($86.50)
MP2 ($120.60)
MP3 ($108.90)
CO ($105.50)
Button ($271.50)
Hero ($160.65)
BB ($187.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Qh], [Qd]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
2 folds, MP1 calls $1, 2 folds, CO raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero (poster) calls $3.50, BB calls $3, MP1 calls $3.

Flop: ($16) [Qs], [Jc], [2d] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP1 bets $5, CO calls $5, Hero calls $5, BB calls $5.

Turn: ($36) [7d] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP1 bets $10, CO raises to $30, Hero calls $30, BB folds, MP1 raises to $50, CO calls $66.50 (All-In), Hero calls $121.65 (All-In), MP1 calls $27.50 (All-In).

Isn't it lovely to be holding the nuts and everyone in front of you is pushing all their chips in the middle.

River: ($361.65) [4h] (3 players, 3 all-in)

Final Pot: $361.65

Results in white below:
Hero has Qh Qd (three of a kind, queens).
MP1 has 2c 2s (three of a kind, twos).
CO has Js Jd (three of a kind, jacks).
Outcome: Hero wins $361.65.

Insane hand. Enjoy it. Not to often you'll get flopped set over set over set.....and you're holding the top set. As a matter of fact, I can't remember having ever run in to that in over a year of playing NL.

You should change the title of this thread to "The single greatest flop of all time" or "How 2 guys went from tapdancin on the ceiling to sh**tin their pants"...

NOW... if you could've gotten BB to hit allin when he hits trip 7s on the turn, I'll be impressed... :D

It was the $100 tables.

And I don' think I have ever been so excitied to see two people push all their money in the middle before.

I will probably never have another hand like this.

Yeah, I was in the blind and just kept betting and they kept calling. I dont know why one of them didnt raise but I got one of them all in and the other one almost all in.

I think I had QT and the flop was J98. One had JJ and one had 99.
