I had a feeling I was beat as soon as he called my flop raise but don't know why he didn't just go right over the top. Does anyone play the turn differently? or even just push on the flop? I didn't have enough info on the flop until he called my raise when I put him on AQ, AK (AA, KK outside possibilities) due to him just calling.

set over set sucks, its a tough situation especially with him just calling your raise. he trapped you and it worked. i think you played it just fine.
