how would you guys play this to extract maximum value? i know i had the best hand, that wasn't the issue. i wish i could have gotten more than i did though?

.25/.5 NL home game

i have $100, opponent this hand has $80. we are the two big stacks at the table

preflop: hero is CO with [Jc] [Js] 2 limpers, i limp to mix it up, button (villian) limps.

FLOP $3 [Jh] [Kc] [4d]
checks to me, i check, button bets $2. everyone folds and i call, rather disappointed no one else hit that flop

TURN $7
[Jh] [Kc] [4d] [6s]
i check, he bets $4. i raise to $10 and he folds  darn

any thoughts or did i play it properly. it would have been nice to stack him up right then and there...

You played this hand fine. A little risky that he could be playing 2 two boardway cards and hits a gutshot on you on the turn. My guess is he had nothing, if it was lamont or his brother he could easily have been playing something like 22 or 33, who knows.

theres really no way to extract more cash from this guy, if he had any kind of draw on the turn he would have called the additional 6 dollars in a heart beat. on the flop he was trying to bluff, and when you showed more weakness on the turn he tried again. its very risky to keep giving out free cards by check/calling, giving out a 2nd "free" card would have been a big mistake, so raising was the correct move.
