AA reraised pf (200NL)

Postby T-Rod » Sun Nov 05, 2006 5:46 am

Stars 1/2. 6max

The entire table limps to me in the BB. I have A[d] A[s] and pop it to 22.

Guy with a full stack in LP now min raises me to 42.

Who calls? Who pushes?

Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.

hmm.. fancy play would be to think for ages then flat call

another min raise would get you both almost pot comitted so that might be optimal but I don't mind the push here either.

I take it if we flat call that we are committed on say a Kxx board? He'll have KK as often as AK?

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

I'd flat call and try to get it in on any board.

I'm a bit surprised by the response because I would never ever flat call here because I don't want to give him good odds to draw (to a set) and I would hate myself if the flop came something like 9TJ with a flush draw or what not. Re-popping it to 100 straight means your flop all-in will be 1/2 pot, and unless he folds to another 58 after already putting in 42 (unlikely) he'll probably call half pot on the flop with an underpair or with no pair no draw.
