Well i have a question. What would you have done if a K fell on the flop? If u are sure he has KK or AA I think maybe u should wait untill you have an easier hand to play against him. Like a PP or sc's. I think callin with KQ is trouble. IMO!

1. Fold preflop.
2. If you get upset about hitting your hand after you correctly fold you're not playing with the right mindset.

I don't think you played it right. KQ, suited or not, is a trap hand that should definetely not be played up front and you should absolutely not call a raise with it, especially from a tight player. If you say you know he's got AA or KK, why are you calling? The chance of you being ahead of both those hands after the flop is extremely low. Bad raise and call preflop, good fold on the flop.

I think there are times when you can bet this hand, and stuff like Axsuited, but only if you have the iron-discipline to only hang on if certain conditions happen. A5s, an OESD to the wheel flops or a four-flush. KJs, but only if I flop two pair or have lots of outs. Otherwise, I'm out. If you know the opponent and know yourself, you can make money with these hands. Most people can let go TPGK. That's when they get into trouble.

I think automatically folding these hands is too weak/tight. However...see sig below.

KQ is a fold in EP. Thats really all there is to it.

I'm not sure that KQs is an auto-fold in EP on the $1 tables. I tend to limp as if there is no raise and you hit a K or Q on the flop you can be pretty sure that your kicker is good..and of course you have 2nd nut flush and nut str8 darw possibilties - on a very aggressive table I might fold, but I'll limp with KQs or KQo on normal tables (I'm just very aware what junk they are in a raised pot)

I'm also a fan of limping EP/MP with KQs, but will fold to anything more than a min raise (I may call a raise to 3x if I'm confident that I can outplay the raiser). WHY did you min raise with it though? That's a carnal sin in NL :P So, limp pf and if he raises to 4x then it's time to fold...especially if it's his first raise in 200 hands!
