you forget alex that unless he has a set (which sadly he did this time) you have the winning hand on the flop. so even if you're only winning 55%-45% against TPTK.. add in just a few points for fold equity and all of a sudden you have a more then mariginal, winning play.

i don't think you understood me k3nt.

55-45 sure... but all you have to do is add a few points for fold equity... then all of a sudden it's more like 65-35 play...which makes it a winning play... instead of just marginal.

Thanks for all the great respones to my post everybody. I am having a great time reading various opinions on these hands.

What I think I should have done with these:

Hand 1. Push all in on the flop to the raise

Hand 2. I think this was played correctly, even thought it was a slight gamble, given the stack size of my opponent I think is was the correct play.

I'll post up some other hands that I have a few question's on tommorow, I would like to see what some opinions are on them as well.
