Pot limit tips

I know this is technically off topic, but I thought it's still big bet poker, if it gets moved so be it.

Anyway, deciding to play some 25NL on party to see much and how fast i can grow the $150 I've had in there for about 6 months, I accidentally stumble into PL holdem. Anyway, long story short, my earnings on the PL tables are far greater than the NL for the same $25 tables in the past week.

I was wondering, since I might persevere with PL on Party, are there any particular nuances to this game that are different to NL. To my mind, position becomes absolutely critical, even more than NL, along with the total avoidance of marginal hands.

Any advice? It seems that at these tables half the table is too passive and 3 or 4 of them are way too aggressive and loose, though I've been successful at $100PL in the past on other sites.

Cheers,

Molina

I make 2-3 times as much playing PL compared to NL. I wish I knew exactly what caused it but I'm not sure. My stats indicate that I am a bit looser and more aggressive (still, I win more showdowns).

If I have to pick one thing (except position, which you already mentioned) I think preflop aggression is absolutely essential in PL. I raise with amost 20% more hands in PL than in NL. From the button I have a vpip of 30+ and pfr of 12%.
