Oh i meant that i am more likley to check the turn when there are no draws. He obviously like his hand if he called a pot size bet on the flop so on the turn i may as well check. I think a check on a non scary board saves me money if he has a set and gives him a chance to catch up so he will call me on the river. Am I wrong??

I check the turn unless I know I'm up against a calling station.

I want pot control with TPTK. I'm not trying to pump up the pot too much.

I check TPTK sometimes on the turn if there is no obvious draw and call a bet on the river - I often have the best hand.
