Im on the button with 2 limpers, LP (aggressive preflop) raises to $1 I call figuring one of the limpers will call, they both do...

Flop comes

Checks to the raiser and he bets $2.50 into a $4.50 pot, I call and it folds around...I'm not sure what has here maybe A-10, not sure if he would have raised preflop with that tho, pretty sure he doesn't have a set...maybe an overpair?

Turn is the

Doesn't really worry me too much but raiser fires $10 into the pot and I come over the top all in and he calls for about $30

I would put your opponent on an overpair or something like [Kh] unless he is a complete maniac.

If you lose to a higher set...well, that's poker and you're not gonna let the set go.

btw. post your stack sizes next time...didn't make much of a difference here but in a lot of hands it plays an important role.

I wouldve raise the flop right away. If he has an overpair your going to get him all in. Plus alot of guys will call a big raise even with an unimproved AK.

I see, he had for the turned set...I don't have that much of a problem paying off a higher set there though. Guess it would have been better to get all my money in there on the flop though.

But all the money wouldnt have gone in on the flop because if you raised the flop, he folds most of the time if he has a brain at all.
