Exactly guys - when the 'loose player' got up for a break one player told me that the 'loose player' was waiting for the $1000 and up game (binds like $25/$50). He could not play well at the lower limit.

thanks - I was careful and will try it again sometime.

I agree... I'll sit next to some jackass waiting for a 60/120 game, throwing out $75-90 PF raises... It's really pretty frustrating at times, as I'll see guys calling his raise w/ 77, hit a set, and squashing his AJ or whatever... I just never seem to get a hand against him good enough to call their giganto raises... I can't in all conscience call a $100 PF raise w/ 66, even if I KNOW that I have the best hand... Especially cause I'm 100% sure that if I push back allin PF, as long as he has a marginal hand (K8 or better/Ax), he's gonna call and I'm coinflipping for all my money...

BTW... how do you play a $3,$2,$5 and $10 blind game...? are there FOUR blinds per hand...? I've never heard of anything like that before, but it seems like there would almost ALWAYS be huge pots, and it seems like a horrible game for a TAG to play... You'd be getting blinded down $20 every round... bleh...

Alameda is close to SF - The game I normally play is $100-$200 (first buyin is $200 rebuy up to $200 under $100 or if 0 then $100-$200) with a $3 BB, $2 SB and $2 BTN and $3 to go.

The BB can then check if there is no raise. The SB and BTN ususlly will play for the extra $1.

There is a $3 drop with a $1 jackpot drop.

The NL games at the Lucky Chances Casino is a time based game $6 per 1/2 hour and no jackpot.
