plateau?

Postby shamdonk » Sat May 14, 2005 3:34 pm

I've been playing at my $25NL level for a while; i've been dancing at a br from anywhere of $570ish to $480. Im starting to put in longer sessions and i feel like i have my hands tied as to where my Br goes. I'm still trying to clear bonuses to maybe level up, i've even went down to $10 NL and i can't seem to break this dry spell. Is it possible i've reached a plateau that i might hover at for a while?

yes - this was where i was at for several months - the shift upwards came when I stopped trying to play ABC poker (often very frustrating at these levels) and started playing the players... if you haven't got PokerTracker and a real-time overlay program like PV or GT+ then you should..

Hey, anything is possible, you may have reached the peak of your poker prowess. BUT, since you are here posting this question I'll assume you are hungry enough to try and improve.

What is "a while" - how long have you been playing the $25?
What is a long session for you?

When you post a poker question the more detailed question you ask, the more detailed answer you will get.
