I tested the waters on the $100 tables on GC over the weekend and was very surprised how loose and fishy some of the tables were... If its possible the play was worse than the $50 tables over the 1500 hands I played. While that seems to be a good combo to make money, I was having a problem getting peeps to fold pre flop/post flop... example:

Im on the button w/ and 5 limpers to me... I raise to 5 BB and get 1 fold.. flop comes ... I bet the pot and get 3 callers... now the pots over $50 and the turn is looks harmless enough.. to bet the pot now i need to go all in...
So I throw $35 at it and get 1 caller...river is Remaining player goes all in for $8 and I call he shows for 2 pr and takes the pot.... !*#$%@ how do you call all those raises w/ bottom pair crap kicker???

After that i started raising to 7BB for any raising hands I was delt and I got a few more folds but was still getting too many calls........

I ended up limping ALOT more than I usually do and gave up on stealing pots.

How do you deal w/ that? I felt like I was on the .01-.02 tables on UB again..

well increase the amount of bets and raises, stop bluffing and just let the money roll in...

In these kind of games limping is the key with everything except big pairs, raising with AK is going to get you killed in a 5 way pot. Increase the size of your bets until you are able to get heads up. Also in a very loose passive game, postion becomes even more important.

Jeff... I play the GC $100 almost exclusively, and I can tell you that that is almost the opposite of how these people usually play... they are usually VERY weak tight, and can pretty easily get pushed around... I've seen them check the river w/ the nut flush or straight... They WAY underbet all of their hands, giving you great odds to call and chase a little... If you hit it agian a couple time, I can almost guarantee you you'll start to notice how scared a lot of them play...

I played over the weekend for about 1500ish hands so my sample size is pretty small, and of course some tables were worse than others.

At GC you can increase your preflop raises to 6 or 7BBs and still get a caller or 2. Dont be afraid to raise to $10BBs with AA and KK if theres a limper or 3 in there.

I never played the $100s there, but have alot of $200 and $400NL hands logged and believe me, they want to gamble.
