At Tribeca, the play at NL50 is significantly more aggressive than at NL25. I've taken big swings moving up myself...I just tightened up actually, and they aggrodonked themselves to death.

I'd guess the difference is mainly one of long term variance. Looks like you were probably running slightly hot and now have been on a cooler, but without stats it's hard to say.

Post full stats please, inc. position.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when he was told that Apple Inc. had recently bought a Cray supercomputer to help them design the next Mac.

Was it you posting that graph and asking whether you could move up? Couldn't find the message though
Well the graph looked hot, if I look at mine and see the time where I had like 3 times a lower set, 2 times a lower fullhouse, once a flush king high beaten by an ace high and once the idiot end of a straight... all of these hands within ~2000 hands.. i made a break playing afterwards and started recently again... actually I was surprised to be able to win money with sets and even idiot ends of straights again.
Running bad happens to everyone.

btw i never played with rakeback....

the rakeback you get is of the rake YOU create, not the hole table isnt it?

signupbonus >> rakeback?

Jossnaz-

RB is calculated differantly at different sites.
At FTP, the dealt RB method is used and you get rb for hands in which you are dealt cards but may not have been involved in. This form of rb is the most advantageous to the normal player.

The other method is Contributed in which Rb is generated just from your rake. Sites use two different methods to calculate this, both weighted and average. To my knowledge, weigthed contributed rb> average contributed. Rb. Contributed rb is a 50-60% penalty compared to dealt rb for the standard NLHE 6 max player. It may help you if your vpip is over 50% but then you prob have bigger problems.

Also signup bonuses can many times be done in conjunction to Rb.

Back to OP, ive been in a similar dilemma over the past two months.

Im a 15ptbb/100 winner @25nl over 15k hands or so while a 3ptbb/100 winner over a similar amount of hands over the same time period. The larger amount of money has caused me to have a case of FPS. Im working on beating that. Also ive had a colder run @ 50nl than @ 25nl. a tad of variance, a tad of FPS, buh bye $ies. i advise you to work through it as long as you are comfortable and sufficiently BR'ed.
