Hello, I'm Troy and I've been a lurker for a about a week or two and figured its time to post a little and introduce myself.

I'm a big fan of shorthanded in the .5/1 and 1/2 Pot Limit Games on Interpoker and I wanted to share a hand with you guys that game up Yesterday.

Game is .5/1 SH (6 max) PL Hold'em $100 max buy in

4 Players in the Hand
2 not so good ones (usual Interpoker crappy players) with stacks under 40
THe other is a pretty good player who between me and him have knocked a bunch of players out with a stack in the 250s
My stack is at 150

I'm on the button with

1st Crappy player is in BB
2nd is UTG he raises to two
Villain is to the right, Calls
I call, so does BB

Flop Comes

BB bets the pot... about $9 dollars
UTG goes all in for about $20 more
Villain Calls! I Call!
BB goes al lin $20 more
VIllain Calls! I Call!

Turn Comes

Villain Checks, I bet about 30,
He calls, I guessed maybe he had a Queen of spades and wanted another


River

He checks again,
Maybe i should have been alarmed by the checking but apparently i wasn't that worried
I go all in for about 60 more

He calls and flips over

Should I have been able to tell this?
VIllain Wins about $200! ouch an hour or so work down the drain!

Hey! Im not the new guy any more! As long as you didnt give anybody odds to draw on you, then it was fine. In full ring games I dont worry about running into a higher flush, and in 6max definitely not.

You need to be pushing that harder on the flop -- bet the pot when it gets to you. You don't want to give ,[Js],[Ts] a cheap draw for a flush. Same on the turn.

I think you need to reevaluate your read on the villain. he called a raise with T2s? After the villian calls the flop, I raise him to 60-70. No cheap cards for the 4 card flush. Then I'm all in on the turn. As they said, you can't give a cheap draw and since its 118-1 to flop a flush, its REALLY unlikely for 2 to do it especially in a 6 max game.

That's what i figured, Looking back i should have been all-in on the Flop as well

Not that it woulld have helped me much in this situation
