Never made this play before. What do you think?

The preflop raiser always bets weak after the flop..which induced me to call this hand after so many other callers to the raise. This table was very weak. Some of you may not like the call....but I don't care :)

2/4 NL

Dealt [Kd][6d] in the SB.

Muppet in EP raises to $10. Bunch of callers. I come along as well.

FLOP$44
[4d][8c][Ad]

I have the nut flush draw. I check. Preflop raiser checks as well...some MP guy bets $20. He gets raised to $80. Folded to me. I almost reraised here. But decided I wanted to call..see the turn...and try to induce others to call. I thought for sure at least one other person would call because of the texture of the table. Then the plan was to move all-in on the turn...no matter what card hit. (barring a board pair....i don't like drawing dead)

Everyone folded however.

So now it's heads up with me and the LP guy (who I have no read on.)

TURN $225
[4d][8c][Ad][9c]

He has $142 left. I move-allin. He folds and says AK.

Probably not the smartest play by me in the world. After reviewing it...it looks like it's probably -EV. Still...interesting if nothing else. Looks more like a big play to do on like a 25/50 NL table with pros or something. I probably should have just let it go on the flop.

What do you guys think?

I think you have officially moved into LAG territory. Youve always been aggressive, but this is over the top.

One hand doesn't move you across the thershold. :)

I like to think of myself as semi-tight and very aggressive after the flop.

But yeah...I've decided that was an ugly play. Instead of coming off looking like a set...i think ti made the image that i have no real clue how to play poker ;-)

I do love to bet my draws.

Surely if anyone else calls the flop, as you were expecting, there'll be $300 in the pot and PFR will have only $150 left? Difficult to see him folding anything with 3:1 odds?

Do you see many tough laydowns on Prima then? I'd estimate the fold equity on Party in this sitation to be very low indeed. Not sure about Stars.

This is a borderline play, just make sure you make it against a good enough player that can fold a hand, after the turn you are most likely drawing at 9 outs which makes you a pretty solid underdog. Doing this against a calling station will lead to disaster, against a good player I like, it really looks like a set and a good player folds AK here.
