I'm confused. You say you are in EP-MP and villain is in CO but he acts before you on all streets?

Anyway, if I interpret it correctly, the pot is about $60 on the river and you bet $75. Its not a bad bet if you think your opponent would have thought it was a bluff and called. I probably would have bet more like $50 which would put him closely all in and hope he just throws the rest in.

What was your read on this guy.
I dont know that I would have been betting into him so strongly with a weak flush, because what if he noticed your aggression and just keeps on smooth calling your bets while he holds the nuts.

I'm glad it paid off for you this time. But I always tread lightly when I hold such a weak flush, because this guy kind of looked like he was drawing too, and if he checked to you hoping you would stay consistent and bet into him, he would have looked like a genius when he re-raised you all-in and took it down with a stronger hand...

just my 2 cents. .. good luck

Yeah, youre right, its just a raise, but its still not big enough. Raise more or just call.

I think this guy had AA or AK. I don't think folds a set of kings on the river, and unless he is a total jackass I can't see a re-raise and then a check on that flop with anything else.

I agree with all the analysis so far. Your raise was too small and would seem weak to me. But then his re-raise was also weak. If has AK you are a coinflip from here. If he has AA you are a big dog. I am not sure what you were trying to represent with raise, other than some random 2 pair. Given the holdings we think he might have, there is no way he is folding to that raise. In fact I would worry about his bet there... he thinks he has the best hand and is trying not to scare you off. He is giving you odds to call.. so call. If you want to get agressive, and you think you can take him off his hand, push all in.

Reviewing the hand I agree with devil that he prob had AA or AK. I think he had AK.

Anyways, on the turn after he checked the flop and bet 5 on the turn into about an $11 pot I put him on either KK top set or QQ. I raised to $15 at about a $16 pot, figuring either he would fold QQ or smooth call in which case I would fire again on the river. Once he popped me back with a minimum reraise I put him on KK, although I guess AA or AK were also likely. My opponent was pretty solid and fairly aggressive so I didn't think that he would have checked the flop and bet about 1/2 the pot on the turn with either AA or AK. When he checked the river to me I didn't have a clue what he had and didn't really know how to play it. I thought he may still have KK and be trying to induce me to bet or might figure me for a bluff. Anyways, I figured I messed this up so thanks for the advice. (He did take most of the time to think about it, so I think he had AA or AK and put me on a set)
