Moving from Limit to NL

Postby ale_k300 » Mon Aug 29, 2005 10:20 am

Well , last friday i decided to move for a while from my tipical 3/6 Limit game to 0.25/0.5 NL, usually i like to multitable so i tried to do the same ( 3 tables ) and it seem to work.
Probably i put around 1500 hands where my numbers are around the same i had at limit (my VP$IP is 14 at limit)

VP$IP: 16.54%
VP$SB 18.71%
WTSD: 29.94 %
Won SD : 52.38 %
PFR: 6.10 %

Flop: 4.10
Turn: 4.00
River: 3.95

I know my sample of hands is really small because i just started playing NL ( have played it a long time ago usually MTT and SnG too ), but i see that this game seems to be more productive for me than my current Limit game, so my question is what is the winning rate per table i can expect at this limit considering myself a solid player?

Thanks.
Alex

I've read the 10 to 15xBB/100 hands is the norm. Remember, you have to double the number PT gives you if that is your tracking software.

it will be 10 to 15 BB / 100 Per Table??

that will mean around $10 , $15 every 100 hands per table on a 0.25/0.5 NL table considering that a BB in NL is Twice the big blind??

Thanks.
Alex.

10-15 Big Blinds (BB) per 100 hands is considered good if kept up for the long term (>20k hands). This is the same as 5-7.5 Big Bets (PTBB) which is what Pokertracker shows the win rate as, since PT was originally designed to track Limit play.

That works out at $5-$7.5 for every 100 hands at NL50 regardless of the number of tables you are playing. If you play more tables, it just means you are playing more hands in the same period of time.
