Maniac wins again

Postby tetsuo » Thu Jul 28, 2005 7:17 pm

I had previously seen the opponent (maniacal in some respects) here call preflop with small pairs or junk and then bluff-reraise weak bets. So I wasn't paranoid, but I didn't expect the reraise all-in at all. Still, at that point I still felt my hand was good, given his MO, which it was.

I should've just pushed when he re-raised though, right? I can't see the point of just min-raising.. <confused at own play>

If you don't believe him, I'm either all in on the flop or if he is an agrresive lag, you could try checkraising all in on the turn as he is likely far behind. 2 outer, it sucks.

I don't see that you played it all that bad. You got him all in on the flop when you were a huge favorite.

I probably push instead of min reraise though

Just bad luck on the river.
