Live NL Hand

The game is $2/$5 $300 max NL at Turning Stone

The table is playing pretty loose and agressive pre flop, but not particularly terrible post flop. The player directly to my left straddles to $10 and the player to his left "re-straddles" to $20 every time its my big blind, just to give you an idea of the game. It's not uncommon to have 5 people seeing a flop for $40 a pop. Villian is very loose and very aggressive, but thus far not in a good way. He opens for a raise in MP (might have been one limper) for $70. This pre flop raise although looking terribly strange, was really not out of character at all for him. He has rebought several times and has around $400 or so in his stack. 3 folds to you in LP with AKo. You have about $2000 in front of you. What do you do?

Stack sizes make this a bit tricky... reraise to $200 and hope either (i) he folds, (ii) you hit an A or K on the flop, maybe?!

I think I prefer calling and taking a flop against a bad aggressive player. If you miss just fold, if you hit your A or K, there's a good chance he'll bluff his stack off, no?

I fold, because in a game this retarded - I dont have to gamble with AK. There will be plenty of better spots to choose.

Its retarded enough that I push all in. (assuming that the straddlers dont have a monster stack)

Perhaps I worded this poorly, but there was no straddle this hand, that was only when I was in the BB. I only mentioned the straddlers to let you know that the game was a loose agressive "fun" type game.

Well, that does make a difference. The one thing I wouldnt do here is call. I think you need to fold or push in. I dont want to just call and then fold if I dont pair up. You only pair up 1 in 3 times and when you do, you probably wont get paid off.

if it was online, I would fold everytime. Hes raising 14BBs?

In a live game, I think a push is good, but if any of the players between you and the raiser have large stack, Im still folding.
