Kings again

Postby kennyg » Fri Aug 05, 2005 2:23 pm

1/2 Prima

I raise to $10 with KK. Only the blind calls. No read..we both have $200.

FLOP$20
[Qd][8h][8d]

He bets $10. I raise to $30. He moves all in. It's another $160 for me to call.

Cal or fold??

Iceman seems to be able to call these profitably using the "why would he move in with a 8?" strategy, but I fold these without a read.

It looks to me like a muppet thinking to himself "scary straight/flush board, must get money in now".

ps What's with the new photo, in case nobody else has asked yet?!

These hands are tough with no read. It would be alot easier if I knew who it was, but Im leading towards folding. I would make that move on you with AA.

Alot of times I call this though.

I would probably call, expecting to see AQ, and would probably end up kicking myself in the ass when he's got AA...

I called.

He had [8c][5c] for trip 8's on the flop.

I really didn't think he had an 8. I really was thinking AQ by the way he played it..maybe aces, but I really thought AQ.

Post flop I have to give me kudos...he weak led into me then took my stack.
