Sorry, I didn't catch that Ice. Yes, I bet $16 and had $6 left to call his all-in. UB posts reraises as the total of what you put in on that street. More than a little confusing.

Thanks for all the feedback. These hands have been driving me crazy. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I am ready to learn it now. Now let's hope I can remember it at the tables.

Got creamed again today with KK when villian caught the straight on the turn and flush on the river but at least he didn't get my stack. Hmmmmmmmm, bragging about not losing as much as yesterday - that sux.

Iceman,

Thanks for your feedback on all my proposed rules (this one and the previous ones).

Take it as a given that I understand that different situations can call for breaking even good rules. What I'm looking for is rules that I can remember when I don't have any particular reason to do anything out of the ordinary. I need to not have to think through everything from scratch every time.

Kent,
Keep working on those "rules of thumb". They help me as well. Like you, I like to have these thoughts to work from. I don't always follow them to the letter - sometimes I go against them but in general i work the same way.

When you get a list you are happy with please post it for the rest of us.
