How bad is this? (100NL 6-max Stars)

this isn't the normal line would take here.

what do you put villain on?

Folds to me on the button and I raise Q[d] J[d] to $4

BB calls (he has a $80 stack, I cover)

flop is Q[h] 8[d] 4[s]

He leads for $5 into an $8 pot
I call (bad? should I raise?)

Turn is a 7[d]

He leads for $10 into an $18 pot

do you call or raise or fold and why? and what do you put him on?

Having raised preflop, I raise the flop to $15. If he wants to steal OOP he'll have to put more than 4BB on the line.

Is this a reversed implied odds question? I just call the turn because he won't suspect the backdoor flush if another diamond falls on the river.

I can't put him on a set because he led out on the flop, so it looks like another Q, [Ad][Kd] or AA/KK trapping.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

OKI agree more with UA here I think, well I decided to call. I wold have folded had the turn not been a diamond I think because I assumed I was behind after the turn bet. If he had checked the turn I would have thought like TT or JJ as T-Rod said but when he bet I was worried he had a bigger hand

well River is an A[d]

so now what?

He checks, obviously I am betting my flush but how much is a good value bet?

Pot is $38, he has about $60 behind

yeah the river was easy

I shoved he called with AQ

I am more curious if my flop and turn play is correct

I know I am a big dog to AQ even after I pick up the FD
