How do you play these? Any point where you can give it up? I thought he has a PP and I was taking a chance it's not AA.

Party Poker (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [Kh], [Kd].
6 folds.

UTG+1 min raises $2. Hero raises $6. UTG+1 calls $4

Flop: [5c], [6d], [2c] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets $5. Hero raises to $14. UTG+1 calls $9

Turn: [3h] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets $15. Hero raises all in $76.50. UTG+1 calls $61.50

River: [5s] (2 players)

Final Pot:

Results in white below:
UTG+1 has 8c 4c (straight, six high).
Hero has Kh Kd (two pair, kings and fives).
Outcome:
-- andyG [Ah]
I try to learn something new every day. Winning comes by itself.

No way I push on the turn after he calls your reraise on the flop and leads on the turn.

More times than not that's a set (not really fearing a straight here). I'm probably folding.

Another reason I don't like your turn push is you really have no outs other than your made hand, you've pretty much told him and the universe you have a made hand, and he's still showing strength. By pushing, any weaker hands like QQ probably fold and you get no value OR worse and more likely only a winning hand calls and you lose a stack.

Yeah, against your average donk, I'm probably losing my stack here too. His play looks like a flush draw - 1/3 pot on flop, 1/3 pot on turn - it looks like he is pricing himself in. Moving in on the turn here isnt really that bad - his play is so bad preflop and on the flop that even if you lose your stack when he hits, he still isnt going to have +EV in the long run.

In the future, you have a read against this guy. Hands like this are why reads are so key...
