EP opens to 70, MP calls, I call in bigl blind with [7h]

. Effective stacks are 2k. Pot size to the flop 220.

Flop is [As]

. I lead 170, EP folds, MP makes it 400. I do what?

I realize this is a pretty mundane question but I think I might have outthought myself like crazy. Also, what do you put MP on?

EDIT: Sadly, no real reads. Both of them seem to be pretty typical players, but hadn't played with them much.

Call and lead turn. If he has a FD, he'll call and you can get it in on the river at your discretion. And if he has AQ+, he may just raise thinking you were on the FD and are blocking.

I just don't like calling...and I think pushing is too much too. History/reads would sure be nice.

I think he has a very strong hand here, but I think I would like him to put more money into the pot on his own rather than just 3-bet the flop here. I'm for CRAI on the turn because I really think he bets there.

Because of the [As]

on the board, I think his hand range is more weighted toward 1-pair hands and air, rather than a flush draw. I like calling, and checking all non-spade turns. Lead out on a spade turn, though. If turn goes c/c, and river blanks off, CRAI is super sexy.

Villian has def made an info raise OR a blocking raise on the come hoping for deception and/or a free river card.

The only question is how to get max value out of this...you're happily going to stack off. Shob's right that a turn spade will kill your action...maybe the push is best, I'd hesitate 4 seconds before doing it though.

I think a 3-bet is called for here. If villian is going to bet the turn, then perhaps waiting for the turn could be OK some of the time. I think the best default play would be to reraise to $1000 or so. That way you can shove any turn and be happy about it.

edit: You could also shove which would might set up future semi-bluffs if you are called and have to show.

Stack sizes relative to the pot are a bit akward after his raise.

If you have active image 3bet AI, otherwise Droqqa's line is fine.

All other 3bets which are not AI are not good IMO, you'llbe clearly pot commited and your range would become more weighted towards made hands, rather than draws.
