Flop [9h] [Jh] [Ah] (Pot $3.50)
------------------

Flopped top 2 Pr, but one UGLY board... initial reaction was to fold to any bet, but BB bet the pot for $3.50 which seemd a bit large if he flopped the flush, seemed more likly he had Ax, and w/ a $3.50 bet. I felt w/ 4 outs I was getting 11ish to 1 odds of making the FH on the next card, along w/ his stack size of 16 x the bet size, I felt it was a reasonable call.... Do i need my head examined or was this correct? :)

I play it the same way, although if I don't hit the full house on the turn, and its not another heart I make a big raise on the turn.

I think calling was your worst option on this flop. You need to either raise or fold here.

Go with your read. if you put him on Ax, then raise. you beat Ax here. .Furthermore, you want to take away the odds for anyone behind you to call on a flush draw. If he reraises you (which he's not likely to do with just an ace) then you can get away from the hand.

If you think he has a flush, then you have to fold top two.

Although i gotta say, he's kinda dimwitted continuing the bet like that after the board pairs with just a low flush.
